Okay. You are going to start research and planning your A2 coursework so before you get started I want you to look at the following music video or short film and apply some theory to it. Remember your piece will be linked to one of the following theories for the exam:
Genre, Narrative, Audience, Representation and Media Language.
I want you to present your musings on your blog- which I will check over project week. Screen shot parts of the film/video as evidence. So when discussing Representation do a screen shot of who is presented to us and so on. For Media Language think about how meaning is created through signs and signifiers. Use your terminolgy, new found theorists and creative presentation skills...............go forth.

You can of course use your own examples. Try http://www.shortfilms.org.uk/ but stick to the simple ones.
There is every possible genre of short film imaginable at : www.shortoftheweek.com but again, use your time wisely and only look at ones of 5 mins or less and pick out the simpler ones.
